Brittany warthan
a virginia country girl
Born and raised in Prince George County, south of Richmond, virginia, Brittany Warthan grew up in the country running through her Grandpa's garden and drinking out of a water hose.
"My Grandfather is every reason why country music became familiar to me. They say he picked at the banjo, but he was always listening to country music, watching Nascar, or listening and watching at the same time." Warthan says, "I remember going through his stack of country music cassette tapes. I still have some where I snuck one occasionally."
Since making the decision to chase a country music career, Brittany has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Chris Young, Old Dominion, Brett Eldredge, and more.
Warthan decided to step it up a notch and move to Nashville, TN. After taking time to recreate a more definite sound and focus more on songwriting, she felt sharing her story was the direction to go with when writing for her latest release: no vacancy.
"I fell in love with country music because it has a way of telling someone's story, so why wouldn't I want to tell my own? we were able to create 8 songs that don't leave much out about my last couple of years involving the heartbreak I went through."
Warthan released no vacancy in the summer of 2023. it’s an 8 track album with sounds of traditional country modernized by touches of pop and rock.
Her vocals and story combined are worth the listen. with performing as a passion of hers, she CAN'T wait to hit the stage again and share what she loves most with everyone.
